The team at 4500 Fitness is proud to provide a clean and well-maintained facility as well as friendly and comfortable atmosphere with quality service. To ensure that all members enjoy a quality experience, we ask individuals to adhere to the following Fitness Center etiquette.

Check In

Once you become a member, you will receive a key fob. We require that all members scan your key fob at the front desk upon arrival whether using the Fitness Center or indoor track.

Attire

Gym shoes and proper fitness attire is required for participants using the facility. Shirts and shoes are required in all public areas, at all times. Closed-toed clean rubber soled gym shoes must be worn on the fitness floor, track, and in the gymnasium. During inclement weather, please bring a clean, dry pair of gym shoes to wear. Street shoes, Crocs, boots, sandals, socks only, bare feet or open-toed shoes are not permitted.  

Bags, coats and extra clothing should not be taken onto the fitness floor. Please utilize the locker room or coat rack.

Equipment

Handle equipment with care. Please use equipment for its intended use only. Dropping or slamming weights is prohibited. Sanitizing wipes and paper towels are readily available throughout the facility. To help reduce the spread of illness, please wipe down equipment before and after use. Please, re-rack all weights and return all equipment to the proper place after use.

Share equipment between sets. During peak times, please allow other members to utilize equipment during set rests. Be courteous and limit your time on machines and equipment. Do not loiter or hoard equipment. During peak times, please limit your time on cardio equipment to 30 minutes.

Locker Rooms

In an effort to provide for the privacy, comfort, and convenience of all members, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Members and staff are permitted in the locker rooms only.
  • Cell phone and photo/video device usage is strictly prohibited in the locker rooms.
  • 4500 Fitness is not responsible for items left in lockers.
  • Please alert a team member if there is a maintenance concern.

Food & Beverages

Please bring water only into the fitness center. Food, gum and other beverages are not allowed in addition to chalk.

Phone Use

Avoid texting and phone calls while working out. Please be considerate of others and avoid texting and making phone calls while on equipment.

Profanity

Use of profanity is prohibited. Please refrain from the use of profanity, as it is considered offensive, disorderly conduct.
